I marked off the scale length and then located the bridge. You can't see them, but I also drilled the string through holes.
With the bridge in place I determined the pickup location and routed the cavity
Here's the control cavity roughed in on the drill press.
The control cavity is cleaned up with a router, and all edges front and back are rounded over.
The last bit of routing is to create the cavity for the string retainer block. The body is pretty much done now except for drilling the jack and lots of sanding.
