Ranchero Grande Thinline! (sn 091104)

Sometimes I set out to gather the wood and components I need all at the same time, other times I realize I already have them in the shop. In this case I had the beautiful ribbon mahogany blank in my shop for about 2 years. Then one of my suppliers had these stunning consecutively sliced flamed spalt maple drop tops so I grabbed those up. It all came together when I found the slab of cocobolo to become the one piece neck. Recently I've been planning a two pickup verison (grande!) of my Ranchero model. When I was staring at this collection of beautiful woods I thought to myself "hmmmm, Ranchero... Grande... THINLINE!". Stay tuned!
