This was another fun build. I decided to play with the design of a traditional Iceman style guitar. The body is made from lightweight mahogany and is heavily chambered. The quilted maple headstock and rear cavity cover were cut from the same bookmatched set as the top. The F-hole and headstock shapes are variations of the distinctive lower horn. For some added fun, a fellow builder in the UK is also building a similar guitar. We thought it would be fun to see how two different people approached the same design. You can check out Dave Fliski's work at his website Fliski Guitars.
